Im having trouble creating drums with my own samples from within pattern mode..

I;

- select a usr drumkit
- switch to mixing mode
- press vce edit button to edit the usr kit
- press file to load a drum wav sample select the key i want

After loading the wav file the entire usr drum kit is deleted and replaced with the sample..

Why cant i build drum kits with my own wav samples from within pattern mode..
