Hey all,

I seem to be getting some feed back noise from my USB connection between my laptop (4 year old G4) and the motif. Is it possible to replace this connection by removing the USB cable entirely and using MIDI cables instead? If so, which settings would I have to modify in Cubase (AI4) to accompany this switch?
I tried just plug’n’playin but only observed a signal input and output but no audio. I currently am using the Motu Traveler Audio Interface with firewire connection as an intermediary that has 1/4” balanced audio cable connections to the motif, And 1/4” balanced output to stereo monitors.

I would appreciate the help!!!
