Helloe everyone. I have an S90 yamaha keyboard. I play for my father’s church. We have one of the best stereo sound systems in the area. My keyboard is connected to an unpowered mixer which is connected then to a powered Mackie 808 M We have speaker monitors on the left and right sides of the audience. When I play my keyboard in mono everything sounds strong but yet the quality is just ok. When I plug the two cables into the stereo channel(Which is already panned left and right) on the unpowered mixer the sound is not NEARLy as loud or powerful . What am i doing wrong?

Re: NEED HELP!!! PLAYING KEYBOARD IN STEREO

Are you running to 2 channels on both mixers?  You need to run L & R from your keyboard to the sub mixer (2 seperate channels panned L & R) and also stereo bus out from the submixer to 2 seperate channels panned L & R to your main mixer.
