Hi there! Does anyone know if it’s possible to lock the screen on a MO8? In other words, set it to where pushing buttons doesn’t do anything, and no changes can be made until you unlock it? I’ve searched both here and Google and can’t seem to find anything about it. Thanks! |

Hi, Locking the instrument in the way you suggest, so that no editing can be done, is not possible on the MO8 as far as I know (doesn’t seem to be documented, at least). You haven’t said why you would want to do this, but if you’re worried about losing precious user data, I would instead suggest backing everything up to a USB stick as a .M7A (All) file. You can then restore the entire internal memory of the MO8 (including Utility mode settings) by loading this file when needed. - H - |

Thanks for the response! Nah, it’s not about losing data; more about just not accidentally hitting a button while I’m playing, lol. The Yamaha s90xs has this feature (I just looked, it’s called “Panel Lock") so I was hoping the MO8 had it. Bummer if not! |
