I have saved song file in .sng format. I would like to add them back to the the board to save as .x3a file to be used in cubase. Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

I have saved song file in .sng format.

This could be a very old Steinberg file format, that dates back to the Pro24 sequencer for the Atari ST, or possibly an old Logic file format. It could also be a song recorded on a Korg workstation.

The Motif XF can not save or load .SNG files. This means that your files were not created on a Motif XF. It also means that the files will not be recognized by your Motif XF; Only Standard MIDI Files (.MID) and songs in Motif XF Song (.X3S) format are supported, in addition to the Motif XF All Data (.X3A) format.

With regards to Cubase, note that you are required to install the Motif XF Extension before it can load .X3A files.
