Hi,

The Triton unfortunately uses an older type of RAM (72-pin SIMM) that won’t fit into your Motif ES.

You instead need to look for a matched pair of JEDEC standard 168-pin DIMMs, each with a capacity of 64-256 MB and rated for PC100 or PC133 bus speed.

At pair of 512 MB DIMMs of the same type will also work (at least on later firmware versions), for a total of 1 GB. This much memory is only really useful if you sample or record lots of sounds yourself, however, since loading or saving 1 GB of sample data via the slow USB 1.0 or SmartMedia interfaces takes a lot of time!

Also note that DIMMs with more than 18 memory chips on them can not be used in the Motif ES.
