I use a Motif XF8 as masterkeyboard for my Cubase Daw
Is there a way to turn of aftertouch send please?
I don’t want to send any aftertouch data to my pc- is there a way to do this please? I can;t find a solution anywhere in the manuals

Hi,

On the Motif XF, outbound aftertouch data (as well as other controller types) can be disabled for each Zone in Master mode. This is not possible in other modes, as far as I know, so I would suggest carefully studying the Master Edit section on p.212-217 in the Reference Manual.

If you prefer not to use Master mode and keyboard zones, you can have your DAW filter out incoming AT messages instead. I think you’ll find the necessary settings in Cubase’s MIDI Preferences.
