Hi there, recently I ‘upgraded’ from my good old Motif ES to the XS6.
I use it especially for the great sequencer, to make little arrangements controlling some external synths and sound modules. This works great. But now I think I discovered a ‘downgrade’ compared to the ES.
When I am playing in pattern mode, and playing a track on which an external synth is adressed, but wanted to use another track .. I push the button of the required track, but then the sound of the external synth is muted instantly. Where as with the Motif ES this was not the case, the sound (holded with sustain padel) holds on when you start playing the new track (with other sound/synth).
Is this a downgrad of the XS or is it possible to correct this by adjusting some parameters?
(I remember this was a great issue when changing sounds in voice mode, ‘finally’ with the Montage this was adressed … In pattern mode with my Motif ES this was adressed already .. : )
Kind regards, Michael
