Because I’m new at this , I own a a XS rack & have heard circulating reports that one can import additional sounds into this specific rack from 3rd party sound vendors. If true , how do I proceed? Thx

Hello,
I have the MOTIF-RACK XS Tone generator and a mid 2012 macbook pro retina 15 ‘’ (macOS Mojave v10.14.6).
I am using apple md464 adapter to connect thunderbolt port to firewire. I installed the midi drivers v1.3.2 and FW v1.7.5 (IEEE1394firmware v 1.08), and everything seems correct.
I also installed the motif-rack XS editor v 1.6.10, everything looks ok too, but I couldn’t sync it.
The editing software cannot find the name of MOTIF-RAC XS. What do I have to do, ? should I update the IEEE1394 firmware? If yes, how.
