You can convert .STY files to .MID - in some cases just by changing the file extension, in others by splitting out the MIDI and non-MIDI data. See http://www.psrtutorial.com/forum/index.php?topic=14311.0 The .MID can be loaded to a Pattern or Song, edited if necessary, and then the Put Track To Arp Job can be used. See pages 96, 110, and 126 of the MOXF Reference Manual.

I definately see possiblities, lots of them, the only restriction seems to be the 16 notes max one.. But having 4 elements in a single voice is very intuitive, sounds much like creating your very own mega voices.. And thank you for allways being helpfull |

Another arp question, are there many free user created arp libraries available for downloading? |

Just to be clear, an Arp isn’t limited to a maximum length of 16 notes, only the number of different notes is restricted to 16. A single particular note could be played many times per Arp, and it still counts as only one of the 16.

I’m not sure you’re using “elements” the way Yamaha does, but a MOXF Voice can have up to eight Elements. For each Voice, one of up to six Arp types can be selected.

You’re welcome. |
