hi all, im new to this forum. im planning on getting a used motif es rack> i want to know if i can just connect the digital out of the es to the digital in of my p/t mbox2, and record straight to an audio track>>>i dont want to mess with all that midi stuff>.

any help appreciated..... thanks

Don’t know your audio interface but the digital output on the Motif-Rack ES is an OPTICAL digital output at 44.1kHz

Not sure how you’ll get any sound out of the Motif-Rack ES without all that MIDI stuff. It requires MIDI input to output sound!
