Hi,
I programmed a very simple saw lead with some delay. When I change to this patch from any other patch the patch is out of tune for a few seconds and then it’s ok. Any ideas? Thanks.

Steve

In the Motif-Rack ES there are no “patches"… individual sounds are called “VOICES”. Are you in VOICE mode, PERFORMANCE mode, or MULTI mode?

Voices are recalled singly in VOICE mode.
Four Voices can be placed in PARTS of PERFORMANCE.
Sixteen Voices can be placed in the PARTS of MULTI.

A VOICE or PART can change pitch when you are using a PB Wheel. If the pitch bend wheel is not returned to +0000 at the end of a composition, this will leave the tone module PART assigned to receive on that MIDI channel, pitch bent.

This can happen if your were playing back a sequence with Pitch Bend data in it, and the last message was something other than +0000, this means that the PART will remain bent (sharp or flat) until it receives another PB message.

A Delay effect does not normally change the pitch, what is the exact name of the Effect TYPE?
