Could some please:

Point out where in the manual it tells how to save all the settings/data or performance so the xs8 powers up it will load saved file? OR

share with me how to do that if you don’t know where it is in the manual? Or even the google link to such information.

History
Three years ago, when we got our XS, I sat down, using the manual, formatted my usb devise, set up the XS8 to the performance we wanted to use, then saved those settings and set the XS8 to pull those settings every time it started up.

Someone messed up the settings and I need to do that again, but

I don’t know where to look for the information in the manual. I’m sure it is still there, but I don’t even know what to call it to look it up in the index and even if I did know what to call it, it may not be in the index (you know, like “How to assign the assignable footswitch” type things- next topic.)

I have found the section on how to save all user data, but don’t know if that is what I want to save, and then how do I set up the load on power up.

I am sorry for asking what may be a simple find, but I cannot find it.

Thanks

For Auto Load, see page 262 of the XS Owner’s Manual and this support article:

Thanks for the link.

“Create a type “ALL” file that contains the data to be Autoloaded”

I assume that “ALL” is the file type you save as mentioned on page 278 under Saving a File.

Thanks

Yes it is.  It could be ALL (Everything), ALL VOICE, ALL PERFORMANCE, ALL SONG, etc.
