Do the Motif rack es and motif es have the same sound quality?
I listened to the es rack’s demo and it seems to have more power.
Do they have the same D/A converter or same circuitry?

Thank you,

As far as I known they are identical.

The only difference is that the Motif ES also has a keyboard, a sampler and a sequencer.

the Motif-Rack ES does not have a D/A converter - doesn’t need one as it does not have a sampler.

Motif ES (2003), Motif-Rack ES (2004) - the names say it all. One was the Rack version of the other - and as correctly pointed out… sans the Integrated Sampling Sequencer!!! (and keyboard, wheels, pedal jacks, etc.).
