Hi Stone B, yes I’ve got an MX49 but I had trouble with the activation code for the Cubase software, though I managed to track it down. The MX is very good value, the sounds do compare well with the “real” Motifs and it is very simple to use though the screen is very 1980’s!

Thanks for the reply Yamaholic.

When first introduced, I noticed a number of comments dismissing this as a toy. I envision it as replacing a midi controller on stage, with the added benefit of a sound engine on board. Maybe I could lighten up one of my racks as well. Glad to here things are going well.
