Hey all, So i’ve recently gotten what I think will be my main setup… for a while… I’m running a Motif ES rack, Roland A-33 midi controller, as well as my newly acquired Fantom-S.  First I’d like to know if anyone has used the ES Rack with the Fantom-S and how successful they’ve been. It seems as though every bell and whistle on the Fantom sends messages to the Motif, but I cannot figure out exactly WHAT those buttons are registering in the Motif so I can use them to my advantage.... The organ patches in particular, as I can use the 1/5/9 etc very effectively to emulate B3.. Can I use the pad numbers (1-16) on the Fantom to trigger these? I’m slowly gaining an understanding for all of this, but only bits and pieces.. Putting commands together to get the synced up the way i’d like it between boards is still giving me fits… I have a show next weekend with our ONLY rehearsal being tuesday and I’m still at square one, other than knowing what kinds of sounds I want to use (everything from neoclassical stuff to celtic tunes to straight funk/blues)… Any ANY help with detail regarding this, or how to understand what the manual is explaining a little better would just be awesome… Thanks for anything anyone can dish out!

Cheers!
Rick
