Hi guys,

I’m using the motif es rack with a plg dx board installed in slot number 2. I bought the performance editor which works great!

Got some great sounds/layers and splits going, but .. whatever I do there is no sound from the plg-dx board in performance mode.
In voice mode everything works perfect.

What I do (on the module itself without the editor) is init a performance, I hear a piano .. I change that into P2 (plg-dx) and select a preset (e.g. fulltines) and .. nothing no sound.

The weird thing is that when I change back to voice mode the plg-dx presets are also silent? After rebooting the motif es rack it works again.

Am I missing a setting somewhere? Tried all 16 midi channels as well with no result.

Hope somebody can give me a solution, I am getting sad ;-(.

Ok, I made myself angry and unscrewed the live rack to take the plunge and replace the plg-dx board to slot 1 .. and TADA .. now it does work.

Don’t know why, but keep in mind that installing 1 board must be in slot 1 to work in the multi’s and performances.

1 step for Chielio, a great step for motifkind :-).

I have a Motif Rack and will soon install a DX card. What kind of Performance Editor do you have ?
