Does anyone know how to assign parts or sounds like strings, rhodes etc. to the 8 sliders on the XS8 so they could be pulled up in realtime stage performances as you slide them upward in volume? I know it could be done on the ES8.. Is it possible to do on the XS8?

In VOICE mode, the 8 sliders control the volume of each element in the voice.

In PERFORMANCE mode, the first four sliders control the volumes for each part in the Performance.

In SONG or PATTERN mode, the eight sliders control the volumes of each of the 16 tracks in the mix. You enter SONG or PATTERN mode, then hit the MIXING button. Whatever channel is highlighted is controlled by its corresponding slider.
