Settings>Syncronization>MIDI>Transmit Clock MIDI

Check the Destination and set it to your port #1, (probably has the same name as the device you created in AMS).

can you send me some pics of what exactly i’m supposed to click

i’m under SYCHRONIZATION >

i checked destination 1 and picked xs rack (the name i picked previously)

under GENERAL >

sync mode is internal

anything else i need to check

still not working corectly

if i get this fixed i think all my problems with the rack working with logic will be solved

All the necessary settings in Logic have been made. The other settings must be made in the Rack XS…

OK, pages 100 - 101 of the manual detail the Quick Setup Dialog. When recording Arps choose setting #2. Also, you would want to create an empty software instrument track. (Do No Select An Instrument From The Library), and record arm it. Record onto it. And when finished, drag the MIDI region onto your External Instrument Track for playback. You would also need to change the Quick Setup Dialog back to the appropriate setting.

No, it’s not ridiculous, it’s called recording… I would wager, (if I in fact wagered), that you also change settings on your TV anytime you want to watch a DVD instead of the TV signal. And, when you’re finished with the DVD, you change it back again… It’s not really much different.
