The Rack XS operates in two different modes. The first is named- Voice Mode and the second- Multi Mode. Voice mode allows you to play a Single Voice, controlled by a single MIDI channel… Multi Mode allows you to control up to sixteen separate voices via sixteen different MIDI channels. Each channel could represent either a channel on a mixer or an individual band member. Piano channel 1, bass player channel two, etc…

Save it as a Multi in the Rack Xs. Please read page 35 of your manual…

You must record the Rack XS’ tracks as audio before bouncing

wow i think all my problems are solved

i did it a little differently

i created a external midi track and an audio track
i recorded them at the same time

deleted the emt and the audio track kept the motif recording

i’m exstatic

now i can record multiple tracks in voice mode without being in multi mode

i know you hate the word bounce

but bounced it to i tunes and it kept the recording

this way works for me

is there an easier way i’m not seeing

hahah :)

this made my day

sean

You route the XS instruments that the External Instrument Tracks are triggering to Audio Tracks and record them.

how do you go about doing this ?
