I have a MO8 keyboard........
The category Search for Sounds and Favorits buttons don’t Work.
Is there a parameter in the keyboard that turns them on and off?
I did a factory reset… but that didn’t get them back.

Thanks, Norm

If nothing is saved as a favorite, the screen will not appear.GO to category search, find a sound you like, press ‘set/clr. This saves the sound to favorites. Press favorites and you should see it.

ok, wait…

so you’re problem is not necessarily with favorites, but just that the category search button is not working at all?

can you walk us through what you are doing… starting with what mode you are in?

Hmmm, Category search will only work in voice or performance mode. Thats all I can think of. Maybe you are in Master mode or song or pattern?

the search function will also work in song and pattern mode, but you need to go to mixing and track voice before it will function… maybe that is your problem?

From the manual pg 189 (also applies to Pattern mode)

[SONG] âžž Song selection âžž [MIXING]

[F2] VOICE
From this display you can select a voice for each Part. Mixing Voices can also be selected.
The Category Search function can also be used to select Voices here, except for Mixing Voices.
