I am getting a headache trying to figure out how to change a voice in pattern mode, once some notes have been recorded. I can change the voice, having stopped the sequencer, but when I rewind to the beginning again it reverts to the original voice that the track was recorded with.

If I want to keep the notes but not the voice, how do i do it?

The manual is pretty vague and ive searched here to no avail. Help!

Ah! Ive done it! You had to change the voice ‘while the rec button was on’. Its taken me days to figure that lol!

... and otherwise you’d find a program change command in the data
that you could delete in [EDIT] mode.

;JOOP!

JLB,

This is a feature referred to as a Track Voice. The idea is that you want the same voice used on all pattern sections, so the default setting is to have the Track Voice feature turned ON. To turn if off is really easy:

Press Pattern
Press F3 Track
Press SF3 Tr Vce (Track Voice)
Turn off the feature for those tracks you want to change the voices on.
