I am trying to find the best way to set up some samples (wav files created on my PC) for use in live performances. I want to be able to trigger samples from our recording to fill things out a bit. I can trigger these using my PK-5 foot pedals.

Here’s where I’m stuck. I would like to be able to quickly load all my samples organized based on each song. My guess is that if I have 5 samples for a song, then I need to create a voice based on that. Once I create the voices for each song, I guess I need to save “ALL” back to my USB stick to load everything back at once.

Okay, I admit this is probably easy, but I’ve read the manual a few times, and I want to just make sure I do this right. It is not entirely clear to me. I am primarily a bass player, so go easy on me.

Thanks

You don’t have to create voice. Just put your samples in some track (I prefere track 16) and set different key for triggering each sample (for instance C3,D3,E3,F3,G3 for 5 samples). But, if you create voice from sample, you could also use insert effects, not only system effects (Reverb, Chorus).
