When I plug in my headphones into the MO8 I have to turn the volume ALL the way up on the MO and it’s still not loud enough. So I tried the headphones on my Roland and I only had to turn up the volume about halfway. What gives? Is there a setting that I am missing? Thanks |

There is an overall Volume setting within the operating system...(this volume can be changed if you recently played a GM file that has a fade out)…
Go to [UTILITY]
There is also an overall OUTPUT GAIN parameter

Keep in mind, some preset sounds output volume are weak (set around 40-60, instead 127). Go to Effect, Output...set over 100, then save as user. Hope that helps, |

I’m having an issue with this, too. I just bought a brand new JBL EON 515 to run my MO8 through, and it’s barely louder than the TV.

maybe the cable or you plug into wrong input (check the switch mic/line) |

ZCAT - Funny, I am in the same exact situation. I just bought the EON 515, and it sounds great, but volume levels aren’t where they should be and get drowned out by our drummer. I am still looking for a better solution, but you can click the MIC/LINE toggle in the back, but MAKE SURE to turn down the input level control knob as low as it goes and slowly increase it. This shoots the MO volume up way high and all volume controls are much more sensitive… If you find another way, please let me know. Cheers, Chad |
