Yes, the MO6/8 can load any of the Motif ES voice libraries that do not require external samples. There are a number of free user voice banks available from this link. Also see the Voice Library section of the MotifMart. Download any of these files, unzip them to a USB device, connect that device to your MO and then you can load either individual voices (by specifying a data type of VOICE in the [FILE]-->[F3] LOAD dialog) or all of them (by specifying a data type of ALL VOICE). but i think ES and MO has diffrent file extensions so the MO wont read those extentions (e.g. W7E)… so how can you load the ES soundset to the MO? |

Actually, with the exception of the MO ALL file, the Motif ES and MO have the same file formats and file types. Thus, the MO can load voices (without external samples) from both Motif ES ALL Voice files (*.w7v and *.w8v) and Motif ES VOICE EDITOR files (*.w7e and *.w8e). Only Motif ES voice libraries that are distributed as only part of a Motif ES ALL file (*.w7a and *.w8a) cannot be loaded into the MO. (And as previosuly noted, since the MO does not allow loading samples, Motif ES voice libraries that include user samples can’t be loaded either.) As a matter of fact, the MO can also load voices from Motif classic ALL VOICE (*.w2v and *.w3v) and VOICE EDITOR (*.w2e and *.w3e) files. (Since the Motif classic and the MO have different samples and effects processors, Motif classic voices loaded into the MO may not sound exactly the same in the MO.) (See page 214 of the MO6/8 Owner’s Manual). Regards, Brad Weber |

I wasn’t quite clear if my question belonged here, but I’ll ask anyway. I was looking around on Motifator.com a few months ago, and I saw some files that were accessible on a Flash drive that contained different “patches” (guitar, piano, drums, etc.). I was under the impression that you’d be able to load them up (from what I remember), and place them in patterns. I didn’t have it in my budget at the time (Cost around $75 each), so I didn’t get them at the time. So now I have the money to spend on a couple, and I can’t find them here in teh store ANYWHERE!!! Am I looking in the wrong place??!! I need it for a MO6 |

Hi, I have another question, I know how to save a music mode that makes the pattern in my usb, I do not want to be saved as 64 parts pattern, but keep a single music you make. I tried and I just kept the 64 patterns and I just want to record music for a time in my usb, is possible? as is? Greetings |
