Hey y’all, I saved a pattern I created on my motif XF into a thumb drive. I take it to the motif XS to continue working on it, surprise…surprise! The XS can’t see it. Is there a fix to this y’all please. Thanks.

Hi,

The XS and XF generally save different file types (their pattern files carry .X0P and .X3P file extensions, respectively). You can load XS patterns on the newer XF, but not the other way round. I would therefore suggest that you save your pattern as an SMF file (.MID) instead; It will only contain the note data, but can at least be loaded by the XS, and then edited and saved as an .X0P file.
