Hi,

Your question is not entirely clear, so correct me if I am mistaken, but I take it that you want to control a parameter on the MOXF from an external sequencer. Did you have a specific parameter in mind?

The Data List‘s “MIDI Data Format” and “MIDI Data Table” sections could perhaps be helpful. They aren’t the easiest to read or put into practical use, but all of the information needed to create a SysEx message is in there.

I don’t have an MOXF, but most MIDI instruments will output the corresponding MIDI data when a change is made on the actual instrument. It is therefore possible to record those changes, e.g. onto an empty track in a sequencer on your computer. You should be able to see the data in the sequencer’s event list, and you can then edit or copy/paste the MIDI messages to where they are needed.

Hi Henry, thanks for your answer, yes, I want to send some effects from an external sequencer, let me tell you, I have a module a Yamaha mu100R and I send a sysex commands like this: F0 43 10 4C 00 00 7E 00 F7 F0 43 10 4C 02 01 40 5F 00 F7 F0 43 10 4C 02 01 5A 01 F7 F0 43 10 4C 03 00 00 4D 00 F7 F0 43 10 4C 03 00 0C 09 F7 within the sequence When I shot from an external sequencer, this sends xg-reset.sxy, and some effects like fuzz, or others, I want to do the same with the MOXF. best regards
