I was wondering if this application can be used to edit/save PLG-150DX.

Since it could manage sysex files, as stated at program website:

You can use this plugin to edit your real DX7 patchs. Since midi sysex send/receive are quirky for the majority of VST hosts, any sysex messages (editor messages) must be send or received with the external dexed midi interface. This is configurable in the “PARM” panel. By setting a DX7 in / DX7 out midi interface, dexed will listen to specific program/cartridge changes from your DX7 and send controller/program/cartridge you edit.

I suppose it could. I will also try, since I have PLG-150DX installed in MU2000EX.

no reaction(( dexed on my PLG150DX in motif-rack es. DX simulator works good.
Can anyone help?

it dawned on me.
I’m still that giraffe.
dexed can’t control 150DX in realtime like Dxsimulator.
But he can send dump of whole cartridge into 150DX.
and he is very comfortable librarian: you can collect from the heap of sysex dx7 file into one cartrige and send to 150DX
