Hi everyone. I have a major problem here with my xs8. this is my setup: motif is connected to alesis hdr via midi timecode and using it in “song mode” synced to the hdr sequencer midi timecode. I have created songs on the xs8 in the following way: created a midi click track, set the first 4 voice to play on arp, but when I play, the arp isn’t on time. now my problem is trying to get the arps to work on time even if I hit the keys slightly off time. I am forced to work in “song mode” because of the hdr setup we are using. any suggestions? I’ve been on the phone to many of the yamaha staff and now I really have to solve the problem urgently. thanking everyone in advance and hoping to find help!!! Thank you very much.

Possibly obvious answer: when using timecode you have to set the tempo manually in the XS, it has to match the DAW’s tempo and the MTC offsets have to be the same.
