Hi there, I’m currently changing my rigg and going from Motif XF to Yamaha MX 61. Is it possible to transfer sounds from the motif to the MX via USB?

No, XF and MX is not direct file compatible, but is way to transfer preset voices and settings with John Melas software. If you want i give you all my old MX X5A libraries, just send me your email in PM.

Not directly, and only to a limited degree by using third-party software.

The MOXF6 is much more compatible with the Motif XF. Perhaps consider getting a used one if cost is an issue.
