Just scored me a DX-100, mint for $100!  This thing is a ton of fun.  Anybody out there with a DX100?  Know of where you can find some patches for it?

Do you mean the tiny 3/4 size DX100

If so its a 4 operator FM synth which should be able to load any of the thousands of sounds out on the net for 4 operator FM synths.

Tones should be compatible with the FB01, DX27 and DX9 (I think)

With the advent of the DX11, TX81z and V50 Yamaha added additional, more harmonically rich waveforms to the original sine wave architecture and so voices for these beasties may not be compatible.

It goes without saying that sounds created for a DX7 would not be compatible with a 4 operator FM chip.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Yeah, I had lot of fun with my DX100 too. You can have very good sounds from a little toy.
