..for a limited re-issue run. Actually, orders were being accepted
until September 30th.

The Fairlight was a very expensive synth used by famous 80’s artists
such as Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. It
featured analog synthesis as well as sampling and a sequencer, and
had a touch-screen monitor that enabled, among other things, “drawing”
waveforms with a special “lightpen”. The shakuchachi sound from
Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” came from a Fairlight.

The re-issue is priced at $19,000 if you wanted the keyboard included.
It looks and sounds just like the original.

I’ll be darned.

I didn’t know either of the original two were still at it.

No doubt Foleycore will arc up about the price.
