Just to clarify “Jamal’s Flash” is the name of the sound library, but it’s the actual sounds. So maybe that confused you.

You can buy the sounds alone and the product name is called Jamal’s Flash.

The “Jamal’s Flash” cannot be purchased separately. It can only be purchased as one download. In fact, if we were to sell them individually, it would probably be way more expensive.

Just an update guys....I will not be selling my flash anytime soon!

I can’t get my MOXF not to freeze on my samples. My samples work 100% fine for the Motif XF, but for some reason they freeze on the MOXF. No other developer has any freezing issues and no one can find the mysterious problem, so I’m abandoning this one until something can be done.

Sorry about that guys, but I have put wayyy too many resources into this and time with my family to keep trying to keep this MOXF from freezing knowing the Motif XF works perfectly fine with the same Flash.

I guess that is the issue? Who do I talk to? Meaning, is there a developer support E-mail? Is there a technical support. What I mean by this, is that I develop software libraries for iOS, UVI, Kontakt, and partnered with Steinberg. In all of these cases, there is a dedicated E-mail or contact for development support for issues like this. This forum is a great place for sharing ideas, but is this the right place for someone to look at the data and dig into it to find possible firmware issues or querky bugs?

Please PM me and let me know of any other resources I may have missed....

The moxf had read the data from the motif xf, i bought this keyeboard in connection with this possibility,

If I’m interpreting these statements right that was not very professional in responding to a company that sales samples on this very website.  I would expect a better response.  Hopefully it will all work out seeing that Yamaha has to know the market of the Motif brand in gospel music and the fact that since you can’t create samples on the MOXF and can only load samples that the compatability would get worked out.  I as a musician should feel like I can take that flash board and interchange them between my XF in the studio or at Church and put it in the MOXF for a gig or at a different venue just like the Motif XF was advertised.  Please make this right and btw the release in 2014 I hope some of these compatibilities issues go away.

Case in Point - I have a XS8 at home and a MOX8 at church.  Both have the same demo song so I know yamaha figured out how to transfer the sequence but on my end it takes many, many steps to make the sequence transfer, so many I just use my iPad instead.  Didn’t mean to rant and I have no association to Jamal except being a customer and fan but I didn’t like the tone of the response that he got.  I haven’t used bad language or gotten out of hand so please don’t rip me for my opinion.

I have sent Jamal a PM about getting the issue resolved. Meanwhile, everyone may want to just chill out and wait for it to get fixed. Won’t be
next week or even next month but it will be as soon “as possible”.

This is an issue specific to Jamal’s data, it is not characteristic of
every XF sample library that is loaded to the MO XF. I know because I have
been able to load DCP sample libraries to the MO XF without a single problem.

Plese be patient and when the issue is resolved, it will be announced here
on this forum. Thank you for understanding.
