I would know how to use in full the article “S90 Power User Plus Pack - S90 and the PLG150-AN” written by Mr. Clendeninn.
Athough Voices data can be opened into S90 ES, the provided Performance data is for the S90 only.
Thus I would know how to “rebuild” into my S90 ES the 25 New Performances Mr. Clendeninn programmed for the S90.

Thanks in advance.
Michele

There is no direct (or easy) way to convert Performances to an S90 ES. You will have to make your own Performances for the S90 ES.

Bad Mister

Thanks for your reply, first of all :-)

But, another spontaneous question is: How can I “reconstruct” a S90 performance into S90ES if I don’t know how S90 performance sounds?
In other words, are there printed patch charts for S90 that can help S90ES users to rebuild these performances?
It’s a pity being able to use a Power User plus pack at its 50%

Re: S90ES + PLG150-AN and S90 Performances

Sorry, I just never had the time to get around to converting (actually re-programming) the data for the S90 ES. It was created to help users get an idea of some of the possibilities. I originally was only going to make one Performance to show users how to go about it - but as I say in the instructions… it was so much fun I couldn’t stop myself.

If you have played any of these Performances and have read the article you can easily see how they were done. I originally did not want to go about making a bank of Performances only give the user the concept involved so that they could make their own.

The trick in these is that you can SYNC the PLG150-AN arpeggio with the internal clock of the host - this way you could have two of the PARTS arpeggiated… multiple arpeggios in a Performance (sort of a pre-cursor of the XS)

It’s fun… and I believe in teaching the user to fish - not so much in giving the user an already caught, cleaned and mounted fish… so you do not have to know how they sound. When it sounds good to you then and only then you will know you are finished programming /forums/images/icons/smile.gif alt=

Dig in !

Re: S90ES + PLG150-AN and S90 Performances

You’re right Bad Mister and there’s no need to apologize :-)
I’ve also translated into Italian your great articles about PLG150-AN.
They contain endless advices and suggestions.

I’m simply dreaming about new S90ES Performances with 3 arpeggiators synced (S90ES + 2 PLG150-AN).

The only drawback is for Mac users that can’t lean on a good editro librarian for S90ES Performances… :-/

There used to be a Mac editor for the AN - but I image it no longer runs on new Macs - as they seem to obsolete old software when they update their OS. Alas!
