MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST V1.2.0 (Windows Vista 64bit)

The MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST, based on the “VST3 technology” by Steinberg, works as a VST3 plug-in with Cubase series 4.5 or later (DAW application). The MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST also works as the same way as other VST instrument software, allowing you to save the edited settings of the MOTIF-RACK XS, or use them for another project.

In addition, you can handle the MOTIF-RACK XS Voices in the Media Bay window in Cubase when using the MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST with Cubase 4.5 or later, allowing you to search for, listen, and play the MOTIF-RACK XS Voices within Media Bay in Cubase. The MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST provides a comprehensive and seamless music production environment – making the use of hardware and software both easier and much more efficient.

Known Issues
- When connecting the computer and the MOTIF-RACK XS instrument via a USB cable in Windows Vista, MIDI transfer will fail and the message “Port Open Error” will appear even if the MIDI settings of the MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST are set correctly. To solve this problem, remove the checkmark for the Port 4 of MIDI input (Yamaha MOTIF-RACK XS6/7/8 – 4) in the “All MIDI Input” section and “Visible” section in the [Devices] → [Device Setup] → [MIDI Port Setup] in Cubase.

- Cubase will be unstable when using the Freeze function with an Instrument Track of the MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST. Don’t use the function with the track of the MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST.

- When changing a MOTIF-RACK XS Voice frequently in the Media Bay window of Cubase, Cubase may become unstable. In this case, execute the MOTIF-RACK XS Editor VST and select a MOTIF-RACK XS Voice via the editor.
