Hello, I’d like to reduce my studio down to mostly just my motif since I’ll be moving abroad relatively soon.

Therefore, I’m trying to figure out what the limitations are. So far I’m having a hard time recording vocals,

The slice and seq function is still a mystery for me since there doesn’t seem to be much information as to what does what. I think the quick function should work but so far the samples don’t seem to save anywhere so I’m kind of confused. Also it’s limited to only 8 bars which is a bit short if I’d want to linger on a note at the end of a verse.

I could just record using the sampling mode, create a voice then play the recording as a sample. I feel like I’d be missing out one some of the features of the motif though.

Looking forward to any input.
