See photos.  Motif XF7 10 years old.  There is a huge spot on the screen.  Maybe the damage is below the LCD cover and not on the LCD.  Who knows!

LCD replacement-WU187501?

Thanks,
Luis

LCDs don’t take kindly to impact or other types of abuse. A similar pattern can be seen when throwing a stone into a still pond of water.

WU187501 is the Yamaha part number for a Kyocera KCG057QV1DB-G070 display panel. You may find that obtaining the display will be expensive, if you can get one at all, since the KCG057QV1DB panels have been out of production for several years.

This PDF provides even more technical detail, as well as what to avoid in order to prevent LCD damage:

Note that the Gxxx suffix in the Kyocera part number determines certain details about each display. You might be able to find a version other than the G070 satisfactory, but be careful when selecting.
