Hi All,
Then I want to save just that voice with sample to a USB stick so I can load it into a different motif xf voicebank Can this be done? Or can I save just the sample to a USB stick to load into a voicebank on another Motif xf? Thanks |

You can sample to a KeyBank as desired via INTEGRATED SAMPLING.
If you sample in Voice mode, a User “Sample Voice” will be created.
An INTEGRATED SAMPLING Job can do that…

You can save an “all voice” file. To avoid saving any FL1 sample content, set “Save FL1” to “without sample”. To load the “Sample Voice” to another XF, set the file Type to “voice”, open the “all voice” file you previously saved, select the Sample Voice, and load it to the desired location.
However, be sure to have set the Load options as desired beforehand. The sample will be in USR - decide whether you want the sample to load into the XF USR or FL1/FL2 memory (if it has any). To avoid loading Waveforms to FL1/FL2, set their Load options to “None”.
Â
You could save the sample onto a USB drive as a WAV. Then load it to the other XF and apply it as desired - see page 247 of the XF Reference Manual. Edit the Voice to select which key(s) play the sample. Whatever you do, I suggest that you check your work by reloading the Sample Voice or WAV into your own XF and verify that things function as you want before loading to another XF. You also might want to back up the other XF first - better safe than sorry. |
