I am trying to sync up two MIDI sequence files. It’s the SAME SONG and when you listen to either they sound like they are in the same tempo in a normal 4/4 feel. AND they are in the same time signature—4/4. BUT....

Version 1 is running at 218 clock ticks and version 2 is running at 109. I guess you’d say one is a cut-time version of the other. Quarter notes are 8th notes and so forth. 

I would like to work with both files as SONGS, trading tracks and phrases, so I’m wondering what JOB or other method is available to me on the MOXF for getting them into the SAME 4/4 (i.e same values for quarter notes and 8th notes.)

After hitting the Reference Manual again, the BEAT STRETCH Job in Song mode appears to be what I’m needing. I’ll give it a try.

That was it. Worked perfectly once I figured out the correct percentage factor and Tempo adjustments.
