Sorry if this has been covered in previous posts, I couldn’t find it anywhere. Newbie question...how can I change the octaves of the two different voices when I split the keyboard? Thank you in advance for any help. Please don’t flame me, I really have read the manual and looked for an answer everywhere I could think of before bothering you. I have found tons of folks asking this question but never an answer yet.

No problem. Welcome to the forum.

Presumably you’re asking about Voices placed in Parts of a Performance.
(The concept is similar in Song or Pattern modes.)

Select the Performance
Press [EDIT]
Select a Part by pressing [1]~[4]
Press [F4]TONE
Press [SF1]TUNE
Set NoteShift as desired, up to +/-24 semitones (2 octaves)
STORE the change if you want to keep it

Since you mentioned “the manual”, perhaps you’re unaware that there’s more than one covering the MOXF. Maybe you only looked in the Owner’s Manual. If you don’t have the MOXF Reference Manual, you can get it here…
https://usa.yamaha.com/support/updates/index.html?c=music_production&k=MOXF
...along with other useful publications.

Information for Performance mode Part Edit begins on page 64 of the Reference Manual. See page 68 for Note Shift.

I hope that helps you and any others looking for the answer.

You’re welcome. Yamaha manuals aren’t typically light reading, but they contain a wealth of information. If you have further questions, just ask.
