Hello,

A few years ago I purchased the sample library Complete Orchestra and it is a good library.

It states in the user manual that the instrument samples are mapped to their specific note ranges.

However, I have recently noticed that the clarinet (there could be others) misses out notes at the bottom end of the clarinet’s range. The lowest note that sounds is the G below middle C. A real clarinet would actually go as low as the D below middle C.

Am I doing something wrong, or has the clarinet’s range been cut short at the lower end?

It depends on which clarinet, and whether the reference is to concert pitch or the way the music is written.

Anyway, if you’d like to play lower than the way the Voices in Complete Orchestra are programmed…
In Edit mode, find the Element(s) covering the lowest note range, and change the low Note Limit (initially set to G2) as desired. STORE the change if you want to keep it.
