Hello friends,

I need some help to figure out a work around for using the motif xf individual drum outputs but with insert effects, is this possible? 

I have been using the XF more as a drum machine lately instead of the MPC and Tempest, but those drums machines allow me to use all the internal processing effects and synthesis while individualizing the outputs to modulate and record in real time.  I’ve created some amazing motif drum effect patches but need the realtime individual outs.

As you’ve apparently already determined, Output Select for individual drum keys is only available when Insertion Effect Output is set to “thru”. Otherwise, when Insert Effects are used the output defaults to the Main L+R Outputs.

As far as I know, there’s no workaround for that behavior.
