Hi all,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the S90XS as a DAW remote and a MIDI controller keyboard simultaneously?

E.g. controlling Cakewalk and recording real-time MIDI data at the same time.

E.g. controlling Cakewalk and recording real-time MIDI data at the same time.

Connecting via USB allows the data to be routed to various MIDI Ports. Proper routing in the DAW will keep control and tone generator data separate. See page 37 of the S90XS/S70XS Owner’s Manual and pages 146-147 of the Reference Manual. Note that Port 2 is for remote control of a DAW.
