I see Yamaha has a CP1 sample available for download. I’m presuming you need some flash ram to get it. Are there any other piano samples out there for the MOXF? I really don’t care for the on board acoustic piano samples.

Yes, an optional flash memory module is needed to load the CP1 samples.

Other pianos are available in Bank 1 of the “Inspiration in a Flash” download:

There are also several third-party piano sample libraries for sale.

Personal taste has a lot to do with piano sound preference. In addition, the adjustment of certain MOXF parameters, characteristics of speakers, room acoustics, etc., can significantly affect the sound.
