I have a Mox8 keyboard and a Windows 10 computer.  I use Cubase 10, but that is not even a factor yet because I can’t get past step one, plugging in my USB from the MOX8 to the computer.  I always get a message from windows saying “USB device not recognized” so I’m dead in the water.

This web site might be old since you only ask me which version of CuBase I use and it only goes up to version 6… nor do you offer Windows 10 as an operating system.

But, I’m hoping someone might be able to help.

Greatly appreciated if you can.

Thanks,

John

Welcome to the forum.

If the USB drive works properly with your MOX8 - that is, you can save and load files without problem - then Windows 10 is where the fault lies. In that case, hopefully this search will help:
http://www.google.com/search?&q;=“USB+device+not+recognized”++Windows+10

Let us know if you can’t save and load with the USB drive on the MOX8.

Hey John,

I understood your query a bit differently than 5pinDIN, but maybe I’m wrong ... so please bear with me if I fail :-).

I guess what you’re looking for is the correct USB ‘driver’ for your MoX, you’ll find that here:

Best wishes,
Hank

I suspect you’re correct. I originally thought the problem was about a USB drive (with MOX files) not being recognized, but upon rereading it does seem that it’s the MOX itself that Windows can’t identify. Thanks for the different view.

Here’s another source for the YSUSB driver, among other software:
