My moxf is dead, and awaiting repair. Is there an editor (free if possible) that is able to read the content of the x3a and x6a files? got a ton of patch files and without loading the files on the moxf I can’t see what is inside each patch.

For X3A files, the Motif XF Editor Standalone/VST is a free download from Yamaha.

John Melas has editors for both X3A and X6A files. The demo versions allow viewing of Program names without the presence of the synth.
