I am trying to record a Drum Arpeggio into a Song so I can make some changes and then send it back to Performance as a User Arp. I could have swore I’ve done this successfully in the past, but I’m not able to do it now. When I hit the Record to prepare of Replace or Overdub it shows me a Tab called Arp which does indeed take me into Performance (or some special version of it) but at that point I’m not sure what to do. I have the Arps already in a Performance, and seems that there should be a way to trigger the Arp after hitting Record Play button, but I’m not able to select the specific Arp I want, let alone get hit to Record to a track. btw, the reason I’m doing this is because when I make an Arp of my own in Song, and then send it to my User folder the volume of the Arp NEVER matches the other (intern to al) Arps. The disparity is huge so my solution is (or was) to get those Arps into a Song and see if I can somehow change their Volumes or replace the Drum Voice so that all the Arps (including my own) sound like the same drum kit AND are some semblance of matching Volume. So if anyone has gotten into that kind of editing and has any suggestions, I could use them. |
