Here’s the Backstory :) I need a 6/8 Drum ARP for some Songs in my upcoming Christmas Party gig. I search Google, it leads to Motifator, there is a Thread where a Member asks if there is a List of all the ARP’s in the MOXF, a Reply of not needing one because there is a MOXF6/MOXF8 Editor that will list/organize ALL of the ARP’s, so that sounds GREAT, that’s EXACTLY what I need!!!!!!! I go to the Yamaha site to download it, but I have OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra), and there is no download for it. Therefore I have two simple questions:
1) Is there a MOXF Editor for my OS?
Thanks,

Hi, I’m currently using a previous version (1.6.6) of MOXF editor on High Sierra and it works (I get a warning at startup saying it is not optimized for my OS).

Yes. I don’t know where you looked, but here’s where MOXF firmware and software are…
Read the Editor manual to learn how to search for Arps. Note that the Editor’s ARP LIBRARY doesn’t list time signatures, so searching for “6/8” will turn up Arps with that in the name, but may have 4/4 timing.

Alternatively, the PDF of the MOXF Data List can be searched. MOXF manuals are here…
Note that when searching, Time Signature listings in the Data List have spaces to either side of the forward slash, such as “6 / 8”, not “6/8”. |
