I have been using my MOXF8 as a controller via 5-pin MIDI-out into my Saffire Pro 40 for years. I use the MIDI-in to trigger internal patches as well. (Local Control = OFF)

In the middle of a practice session last night, I briefly switched Local Control to ON and everything worked as expected.  When I switched back to Local Control = OFF, the MIDI-out stopped working.  I cannot get this to work no matter what I try.

I have done the following to troubleshoot:

Connected a different MOXF8 via 5-pin MIDI to my rig--everything worked perfectly.

(Back on my MOXF)
Verified the correct MIDI setting (MIDI vs USB)
Verified 5-pin MIDI-in works with no issues (MOXF responded correctly to note as well as program change MIDI data)
Switched to USB MIDI, everything works fine;
Executed a Factory Reset--no change in behavior

So, the problem appears isolated to 5-pin MIDI-out only.

If anyone has any idea, I’d appreciate your thoughts!  Thanks in advance!
