Hi there, I am making a ‘best of’ sound collection in my Motif XF. Thus far I saved them as an ‘all’ and ‘all voices’ type file. The FL1 board is empty, the FL2 board is (almost) full. SDRAM is not used. I’m nearly there ... but suddnely, when I want to load all voices (or 1bank voice) I get a message “waveform fullâ€. I did save my files with no samples ... What do I do wrong? And how can I load back my sound banks (or at least 1 sound bank that I used to place 3rd party voice banks to select the best sounds...)? Help would be appriciated, thanks! Michiel |

If you didn’t set the Load options correctly, then Waveforms were probably duplicated.
I suggest that you reread the support articles I previously linked to in this thread…
For now, try setting Load options this way:
To check for duplicate Waveforms, see the section Increasing the available memory of the Flash Memory Expansion Module on page 15 of the Motif XF Supplementary Manual (https://usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/4/325614/motifxf_v150_en_nf_c0.pdf). Depending on the degree of duplication found, you may decide to remove duplicates one-by-one, or reformat the affected flash module and start fresh. Either way, once done save a new “All†file. |
